VR-2525

 Industrial Strength CNC Router

Ready to cut:
$8,562.00

Description:

The VR-2525 is part of our industrial grade VR-Series CNC router line. With a travel of 28”x28” the VR-2525 makes it easy to Cut 2D composite or 3D wood reliefs with its compact but rigid design.

VR-Series routers are manufactured with an aluminum extrusion frame, and all major parts are machined from 6061-T6 grade aluminum which keeps the machine light in weight while maintaining an extremely rigid structure. The X and dual drive Y-Axis have re-circulating bearings that travel along supported linear rails which allows the machine to be equipped with heavier industrial spindles. The Z-Axis on a VR-Series machine is our very own ZA800QR unit which has 8” of travel to complement the 6” Z height clearance of the machine. The X,Y and Z axis on a VR-Series unit are equipped with a acme leadscrew and anti-backlash nut drive mechanism. Overall a VR-Series router is the most rigid and cost effective machine on the market. Guitar Inlay cutting on a VR-Series

It takes a very smooth and accurate machine to be able to use a 0.015" cutter. The VR Servies machines does the job very well! A Tekno Italian Spindle was used on the video above. Great for making guitar bodies, necks, and inlays.

VELOX CNC router cutting through .0625" thick carbon fiber/fiber glass material. Using a custom size machine 74x14. This is similar to our 4x4 and 2x2 machines. Porter Cable Router and a VELOX CNC brass collet adapter .250" step down to .125". Air clamps were used for the hold down. Read more...

Dovetail cutting on a VR-Series

VELOX CNC cutting dovetails. The pattern was revised after 1 or 2 tries and the fit was great on the 3rd try. For anyone making dovetails, this machine would provide a great solution to making different styles of dovetails. VR3636 machines, Mach 3 control software, porter cable 892, precision collet, and a dovetail bit was used to cut pine.

Thick .75" columns mounted on 1" solid aluminum bearing transition blocks provides a solid gantry design. 3/4 thick table top have t-slots for 1/4-20 hex bolt or hex nuts.

Solid Billet 6061 aluminum parts bolted onto precision extruded aluminum. The supported 16 mm shafts are installed under the table to avoid falling dust. Cable carriers keep wires nice and neat.

At Velox CNC, we strive to make quality parts in-house using high tech cnc machines. The majority of the aluminum is machined and assembled in-house in Orange California. The table top is custom extruded for VELOX CNC. Almost all of our parts have a .020" bevel to give it a superior look and feel.
